Second Life, iGoogle, and del.icio.us are now part of our vocabulary. We are clearly very cutting-edge librarians in this crowd. I’m envisioning all kinds of uses for some of these at school
After another fabulous meal, a few of us walked down the hill into town where we saw lovely old houses with spectacular gardens. The walk up was steep, to say the least.
We’re on to Flickr this afternoon.

Late afternoon slump at tech camp

The rain is tapping on the skylight; the temperature is more fall-like than late summer; and we’re stuffed to the gills — which we need, given the weather — with blogs, wikis, ning and other tasty tech treats.
I wonder if I’ll run into IT problems when I try to institute a wiki or blog. It’ll be good to fill in the tech committee on all this new learning when we meet for the first time.
I think that a blog will be an excellent vehicle for sharing opinions of new literature, especially of medal contenders. A wiki would be a great way to involve teachers in the flex schedule “initiative” and a tech lesson for them as well.
